"Les paroles de cette chanson un peu mystiques m'ont été inspirées par les "Slave Song of the United States", un recueil de chansons et spirituals du sud des Etats-Unis du temps de l'esclavage. Le croisement entre les negro spirituals de ce recueil avec les chansons irlando-américaines est à l'origine de toute la musique folk actuelle... J'aime bien cette idée.
